Celebrating with ENO

ENO chorus member David Newman as Orpheus, in Kentish Opera's 2009 production of Orpheus in the Underworld

Kentish Opera has enjoyed a close association with ENO for many years and in 2011 shares its 60th Anniversary with ENO's 80th. ENO singers who have performed principal roles with us include Paul Napier- Burrows, Anne Welch, David Newman, Richard Roberts, Gary Coward, Antony Rich, Fiona Canfield, Philip O'Brien and Paul Hodges.

We consider ourselves most fortunate to have worked with David Parry, Mark Shanahan, James Holmes and Stephen Harris and in addition, our dance director is Terry John Bates. Terry's work with ENO includes Rusalka, Konigskinder, Toussaint, and (with Jonathan Miller) Carmen, La Traviata, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni.

It has been a great pleasure working with singers and conductors from ENO and we wish you all many more years of wonderful productions.
